UNICHEM Ghana supports Rebecca Foundation
UNICHEM Ghana Group, a leading pharmaceutical company, has presented medical items to the Rebecca Foundation.
Nana Yaw Mohan, P.R. Director of UNICHEM Ghana Group who was there along with senior delegates explained- “We are extremely passionate about the First Lady’s initiative to improve the lives of Ghanaians, especially women and children.”
Unichem presented the foundation with 10,000 Doses of their Anti-Malarial DUOMAL, along with some PPE’s ( LUEX Hand Sanitizers & Face Shields ) .
Spokeswomen for the First Lady commended Unichem Ghana and expressed gratitude for their generosity & support towards the people of Ghana.
Senior Pharmacist of the Unichem Ghana Group Basil Akussah explained “We are presenting DUOMAL Dispersible Tablets & these are easier & better to administer than traditional suspensions due to advantages in dosing, stability, storage, cost and transportation . This will allow children in remote parts of Ghana to access the drug.”
Malaria still remains a major cause of death here in Ghana. Most of those who die are children under the age of five.
Unichem Group has been delivering healthcare in Africa for over 60 years & was primarily established as a chosen marketing and distribution entity for the Global MNC’s like Pfizer , Boots, Sanofi but to name a few .
